- •The Great Jaw sits in the center of The Hole. Hug the walls. Never swim over the center.
- •If trapped: Sonic Resonator forces the jaw open. Feedback Resonator works faster.
- •Lithium and rare fragments line the walls. You can loot The Hole without ever entering the center.
Where it lives
The Hole. A deep crater in Coral Gardens. About 100 meters down. The Great Jaw Leviathan sits at the exact center with its jaws open, waiting.
How to avoid it
Hug the walls. Always. The Great Jaw never leaves the center of the crater. If you stay within 10 meters of the crater wall, you will never trigger it.
Lithium nodes and rare fragments spawn around the edges. You can collect them without ever entering the danger zone.
How to escape if trapped
The Great Jaw snaps shut. You are inside its mouth. You take damage every second.
Equip the Sonic Resonator. Fire it. The stun forces the jaw open. Swim out immediately. Do not look back. Ascend to the surface.
The Feedback Resonator works faster. Craft it at the Modification Station before attempting any deep dives in The Hole.
Do not bring the Tadpole
The Tadpole cannot enter The Hole. The crater is too narrow. You must swim. Bring the Ultra High Capacity Air Tank, Rebreather, and a spare Air Bladder.
