How to redeem codes
Codes come with physical editions or as email delivery for digital purchases. To redeem:
On Steam: Games → Activate a Product on Steam → enter the code. The bonus content downloads automatically.
On Ubisoft Connect: Open Ubisoft Connect → click your avatar → Activate a Key → enter the code. Content unlocks in-game after activation.
On PS5/Xbox: Go to the platform store → Redeem Code → enter the code. Content installs to your game.
If the bonus content does not appear in-game after redeeming, restart the game and check the Captain's Quarters on the Jackdaw for cosmetics and the map for bonus missions.
Is the Collector's Edition worth it
The Deluxe Edition is worth the extra $10 if you want the bonus mission and ship cosmetics. The Collector's Edition is for collectors. The statue and steelbook are nice but add no gameplay value. If you only care about the game, get Standard. If you want all the content, get Deluxe. Collector's is for the shelf.
