Palworld 1.0 Carry Weight Guide : How to Carry More Without Crawling
You are always overencumbered. Here is how to increase your carry weight, which Pals boost it, and the gear that lets you carry a base worth of ore.
- •Put stat points into Weight after Stamina and Health. 500-700 weight is the sweet spot.
- •Cattiva in your party increases carry capacity. Kingpaca doubles it. Bring both on resource runs.
- •The Grappling Hook lets you move while overencumbered. Craft it at level 12.
You mine 50 ore. You cannot move. You drop half of it. You walk back to base slowly, cursing. Here is how to fix this permanently.
Stat points
Put points into Weight. After Stamina and Health. 500 is the minimum for comfortable play. 700 lets you carry a full mining run without stopping. 1000 is overkill for most players.
Do not neglect Weight. Low Stamina makes the game feel bad. Low Weight makes the game feel tedious.
Pals that boost carry weight

Keep Cattiva and Kingpaca in your party during resource runs. Swap them out for combat Pals when you are fighting.
Gear that helps
The Grappling Hook lets you move while overencumbered. Unlock at level 12 with Ancient Technology Points. Grapple forward, wait for cooldown, grapple again. It is slow but you do not need to drop your ore.
Weight rings exist but take an accessory slot. Not worth it. Use Pals instead. Keep the accessory slot for Attack Pendant or Shield.
The fast travel trick
Build a Palbox near your mining spot. Fast travel to it. Mine. Fast travel back. Your weight resets at the destination. This skips the walk entirely.
