Palworld 1.0 Fast Leveling Guide : How to Level Up Quickly in the Early Game
Hit level 20 fast. Chain catch bonuses, target the right Pals, and know which activities give the most XP per minute of your time.
- •Catch 12 of every Pal species. The first 12 each give a massive XP bonus. Not just one. Twelve.
- •Watchtowers clear map fog and give Technology Points. Do them as you explore.
- •Hack Terminals inside locked rooms give EXP, Dog Coins, and new Schematics.
The capture bonus is your XP engine
The game gives bonus XP for the first 12 captures of each Pal species. Most new players catch one of each and move on. Do not do that. Catch 12 Lamballs. 12 Cattivas. 12 Foxparks. The XP from chaining capture bonuses will outpace everything else in the starting area.
Equip the Ring of Mercy (Ancient Tech) once you unlock it. You will kill fewer Pals by accident.

Collect Pal Effigies as you travel
Pal Effigies were reworked in 1.0. Each type now gives a unique stat buff. Relaxsaurus Effigies boost XP gain. If you see green glowing statues while exploring, grab them. You want every XP boost you can stack.
Do not grind enemies for XP
Fighting random mobs is the slowest way to level. Pals caught give 5 to 10 times the XP of Pals killed. If you see a wild Pal, throw a sphere. Do not hit it.
